Sacred Heart Southern Missions
Goal of Program: Sacred Heart Southern Missions is a Catholic ministry in Northern Mississippi sponsored by the Priests of the Sacred Heart. Our Mission is to be a witness to the all-inclusive love of God revealed in the Sacred Heart of Jesus; to be a voice of compassion for people in need; and to be steadfast in our work for social justice.
Placement Type: Long-term (1-3 months): Tutoring in schools, clerical work, food pantry, thrift store, etc. Short-term (1 week to 1 month): Soup kitchen, garden cafe, home repairs, construction (roofing, flooring, painting, etc), cleaning for the elderly, Thanksgiving & Christmas outreach.
