Discernment Retreats

"Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am."

-Parker Palmer

How will you continue to live out the values that were so much a part of your service year when that year is over? How will those values shape what’s next for you? Catholic Volunteer Network, in partnership with Notre Dame Mission Volunteers, is offering weekend retreats that provide space to discern how you can foster these values and live out your passion, and the possibility of religious life as a way to do so. Each weekend will provide a balance of reflection on your volunteer service, input on the skills of discernment, quiet time for reflection, and sharing with the other participants on the retreat.

The retreats are rooted in the Catholic tradition. All are welcome to participate. Thanks to the support of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, we are able to offer these regional retreats free of charge, and provide travel reimbursement for participants.
