Catholic Apostolate Center’s first event at Green Hill is our September silent retreat for young adults (college age through 30s) on September 21, 2019 (Feast of St. Matthew). This retreat, focused on the Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew, will allow participants to take advantage of our 14 acres of gardens and grounds. Place markers, including Mass, Lectio Divina, and Eucharistic Adoration will be offered throughout the day and will focus on Christ’s call in the Beatitudes. These place markers will allow participants to take time to refocus on the Beatitudes periodically throughout the day, though participants may take advantage of as many of the place markers as they would like, or just spend time in personal, silent prayer in any of our indoor or outdoor locations.

The day will begin at 10:00am with an opening reflection on the Beatitudes. Lectio Divina will be offered at 11:30am before lunch at 1:00pm. Eucharistic Adoration will begin at 3:00pm with a chance for the sacrament of confession. Benediction will follow and the day will end with Mass before departure at 5:00pm.

Optional resources will be provided to help facilitate prayerful meditation on the Beatitudes throughout the day.
