Professional Development Opportunity in CST for member program alumni or outgoing volunteers!

The Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development (JPHD) at the USCCB collaborates with the National Catholic Association of Diocesan Directors for Hispanic Ministry (NCADDHM) in offering a Catholic Social Teaching (CST) formation opportunity and advocacy training with the intent to facilitate regional leadership formation through a “Train the Trainers” format.

CVN has limited funding to send a few people to participate in this training program and would like to specifically invite current volunteers, member program alumni, or outgoing volunteers to receive this training.

APPLY HERE by 11:59pm Pacific on May 30, 2024.

This will help CVN work toward the following:

  • forming an internal team of a new generation of facilitators in CST that can serve CVN and also be part of the national CST promotion efforts
  • creates a unique opportunity for our network to grow in visibility in the national Catholic social justice landscape
  • begin an intentional relationship with leaders in Hispanic Ministry that can lead to further collaboration

For member program alumni or outgoing volunteers, participation can provide:

  • Certification in CST upon successful completion of the program
  • Joining an exclusive group of USCCB certified facilitators
  • Networking opportunities with others working in the field of social justice across the country
  • Opportunities to offer trainings within CVN as a paid contractor
