Camp Gray - SaLT Missionary Program

Goal of Program

Camp Gray Missionaries make up our Servant Leadership Team (SaLT) and focus primarily on retreat ministry, planning and leading Confirmation and other spiritual retreats, and facilitating Team Building and Environmental Stewardship retreats for youth and adults of all ages. Missionaries live in community on camp and, together with year-round staff, form a supportive Catholic community. Camp Gray is a Catholic year-round retreat center and summer camp owned by the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin. Our mission is to invite people of all ages to encounter Jesus Christ in all creation, experience a fun and vibrant Catholic community, and be challenged to ever more deeply know, love and serve God and neighbor. Camp Gray serves youth, individuals, families, churches, and civic organizations serving over 3200 youth each school year as well as 150 campers per week in the summer. Our staff comes from all over the country and is what gives Camp Gray its spirit and vibrancy.
