Maryknoll Lay Missioners

Goal of Program: Maryknoll Lay Missioners are individuals, couples and families compelled by faith to engage with people across cultures and ethnicities. Maryknoll lay missioners are brought together by a vision of justice, compassion and dignity for all creation responding to basic needs and promoting active non-violence and healing. We live, love and work with marginalized communities and people in Africa, Asia and the Americas. Based in the rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching, missioners currently serve in the areas of active non-violence, healthcare, children and adults living with disabilities, sustainable development, environmental justice, migrants/refugees and more. Maryknoll Lay Missioners uphold and are transformed by the values of simple living, community, joy, inclusion, and humility.
