Amate House

Goal of Program: Amate House is a young-adult (21-29 years of age) service and leadership development program grounded in social justice, faith, and community based in Chicago. Fellows are transformed through faith-based social justice programming, purposeful community living, and direct, full-time professional experience with Chicago area non-profits.
Our mission is create life-long social justice advocates.

Placement Type: With a network of over fifty Chicago area non-profits, Amate House works diligently to place fellows in professional jobs geared toward their skills and interests, including positions at legal aid centers, low-income community health clinics, schools, parishes, and social service organizations.
