Young Adult Volunteers (YAV)

Goal of Program: The Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program is a faith-based year of service for young adults, ages 19-30, in 15 different sites around the world and the United States. YAVs accompany local agencies working to address the root causes of poverty and reconciliation while exploring the meaning an motivation of their faith in community with peers and mentors.

Placement Type: One to two year placement opportunities in either direct service, education & awareness, or advocacy & justice positions. YAV placements address eco-justice/sustainability, accountability to international neighbors and the global community, income inequality, food justice, education, immigration reform, human trafficking, and more.
