Seton Teaching Fellows

Goal of Program: Seton Teaching Fellows is program of a nationwide nonprofit called Seton Education Partners, serving its mission to help children in urban areas develop the knowledge, character, and faith necessary to earn a college degree, pursue lives of value and integrity, and become saints. Seton Teaching Fellows gives young people the opportunity to serve in some of the poorest areas of America–to share call of the New Evangelization through education. All Fellows teach or work in some capacity at Seton network schools and live in intentional faith community. They share the love of Christ with the margins of society and experience professional and spiritual formation alongside the students they serve.

Placement Type: Seton Teaching Fellows work in our Network Schools sharing in the mission of the New Evangelization through Education. In the Bronx, our fellows work at one of the schools in the Brilla Public Charter Schools network, either with our one of our operations teams, or in the classroom. Then, they teach at our extended day program, El Camino, after school. At Romero Academy, our school in Cincinnati, Ohio, our Fellows will work teaching Catechesis to our students. All fellows receive professional and faith formation, provided intentional faith housing, and a small stipend for their work.
