In My Shoes

Goal of Program: The mission of In My Shoes is to provide a safe, welcoming community for pregnant women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Placement Type: Full-time volunteers, called Residential Mission Staff, commit to living in the community alongside other volunteers and the women and babies they are serving at our maternity home. They are responsible for ensuring safety and enforcing rules within the house, assisting the mothers in setting and achieving their goals towards self-sufficiency and performing administrative duties.
