A Mercy Volunteer is needed to serve external community stakeholders of Health Care for the Homeless (community organizations – faith-based and non-faith-based, coalitions, hospital and university institutions, etc.), staff, and agency clients. Health Care for the Homeless offers pediatric and adult medical care, behavioral health services, social work and case management, substance use treatment, dental care, HIV services, outreach, supportive housing, and access to special health and housing services. Health Care for the Homeless uses its direct service experience to educate the broader community about homelessness and health and to advocate on local, state, and national levels for public policies capable of ending homelessness.

Mercy Volunteers commit to a year of compassionate service, simple living in community, and spiritual growth. Volunteers receive housing, transportation, health insurance, monthly stipends, and more. If interested, please contact Andrea at 215.641.5535 or [email protected].
