A Registered Nurse is needed at Pittsburgh Mercy to serve with Mercy Volunteer Corps. Operation Safety Net (OSN) is Pittsburgh Mercy’s award-winning medical and social service program for the unsheltered homeless population in Allegheny County. Operation Safety Net strives to address the circumstances that undermine the mental and physical health of persons served by creating avenues for homeless people to access the social and health services that are necessary to improve their quality of life.
Mercy Volunteers live in community and commit to simple living, spiritual growth, and compassionate service. Mercy Volunteer Corps provides housing, transportation, a monthly stipend, health insurance, and more. Volunteers will have a professional mentor and will participate in multiple retreats throughout the year of service.
