Sarah’s House is a supportive housing program offering emergency shelter and project-based supportive housing with an array of other services for families experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. We provide safe shelter, daily meals and casework support for those in need. As a supportive housing program for families experiencing homelessness, Sarah’s House is much more than just a safe place to sleep. Our goal is to effect positive change in the families we serve by providing supportive services.

We are seeking an Outreach and Development Associate to assist with developing new relationships as well as strengthening existing ones within the community, in an attempt to further bolster partnerships needed to fully realize our mission of serving families experiencing homelessness. This outreach includes individuals, schools, businesses, churches, and civic organizations in such areas as volunteer outreach, in kind donations, and fundraising support.

As members of Catholic Charities Project SERVE, volunteers live together in intentional community under the shared commitment of living out Catholic Charities’ mission to cherish the divine within all. Throughout the year, volunteers will reflect and challenge one another to grow in simple and sustainable living practices, commitment to social justice, and growing spiritually. Volunteers receive free housing, health insurance, transportation, and a stipend for food and living expenses.
