A Mercy Volunteer is needed to serve as a Service Center Coordinator with Loaves & Fishes at Friendship Park. The volunteer will be part of a team working to provide survival services to people experiencing homelessness in Sacramento, meeting needs both physical and spiritual. Duties would include but not be limited to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Service Center including coordinating volunteer schedules, staying up to date on local resources, creating resource materials for guests and volunteers, being a liaison with the larger Sacramento community, assisting in planning and executing special events and covering other positions as necessary.

Mercy Volunteers live in community and commit to simple living, spiritual growth, and compassionate service. Mercy Volunteer Corps provides housing, transportation, a monthly stipend, health insurance, and more. Volunteers will have a professional mentor and will participate in multiple retreats throughout the year of service.
