Catholic Charities Project SERVE is seeking a Development Coordinator to aid the Development Office of Maryland’s largest private human services provider. Development is focused on advancing the mission of Catholic Charities by building relationships to increase philanthropic support. Through intentional and strategic work, the staff manages volunteer committees, executes events, and engages with corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals. The team also creates opportunities for giving and engagement through direct mail, online and social media channels. Through these actions and interactions, the development office creates a culture of generosity that is consistent with the values of Catholic Charities. Development is committed to investing in the next generation of leadership by providing marketable skills and experiences in community-building and direct services.

As members of Catholic Charities Project SERVE, volunteers live together in intentional community under the shared commitment of living out Catholic Charities’ mission to cherish the divine within all. Throughout the year, volunteers will reflect and challenge one another to grow in simple and sustainable living practices, commitment to social justice, and growing spiritually. Volunteers receive free housing, health insurance, transportation, and a stipend for food and living expenses.
