Vincentian Service Corps West is seeking a Development and Student Support member for Our Lady of the Visitacion School in San Francisco! We need enthusiastic applicants who have a passion for education and a desire to learn about the world of development and communications while serving families and children. You will work under the mentorship of the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator and assist with events and activities as diverse as spelling bee fundraising events to supporting students on the Student Council or Yearbook Club! You will also create newsletters and email communications, among other responsibilities. We are accepting applications now for a year of service that begins with program Orientation in August in San Francisco. This opportunity offers the challenge (and joy!) to live in community with other volunteers, gain real-world work experience, and grow spiritually in a supportive, enriching environment. You will receive housing, health insurance, monthly reimbursements for modest living expenses, and an AmeriCorps Education Award (if you qualify). Minimum commitment is six months OR one year.
