Stella Maris provides independent living housing units, subacute/rehabilitation, medical daycare, and home health care services for aged, infirm, and terminally ill persons. A Mercy Volunteer is needed to serve as a life enrichment coordinator in the long-term care unit, engaging residents in quality-of-life activities. The volunteer will build individual relationships and coordinate volunteers to provide socially enriching activities for residents.

Mercy Volunteers promote social change through a year of compassionate service with people experiencing injustice. While serving in the spirit of mutuality, Mercy Volunteers cultivate Mercy and justice by embracing compassionate service, social justice, spiritual growth, and a simple lifestyle in community. Volunteers receive housing, transportation, monthly stipends, and health insurance, and can differ student loans. There are opportunities to participate in retreats, spiritual direction, and mentoring.
