Redeemer Ministry Corps is looking for long-term volunteers to serve from August 2019-July 2020. RMC is looking to fill a position to serve as a Patient Care Assistant at Holy Redeemer hospital. RMC provides the training to become a PCA, applicants just need to be CPR certified. As a PCA volunteers provide patients with basic hygiene, perform EKG tests, monitor blood sugar levels, and become a part of a work family who is committed to a similar mission of investing in each patient’s well-being.

Redeemer Ministry Corps is sponsored by the Sisters of the Redeemer carrying out their mission to be a caring, comforting and healing presence to vulnerable populations. The Redeemer Ministry Corps volunteers are men and women who desire to make a difference in the lives of others. They live in community and have the opportunity to foster their faith life, develop friendships and live simply. RMC volunteers serve full time in ministries sponsored by the Sisters and join the Sisters once a week for community dinner and prayer. Ministry placements are tailored to fit the skills and gifts of the volunteers, as well as to meet the needs of the sites in which they serve.

Benefits: Volunteers receive a monthly stipend ($100), a shared car to use for the year, money for gas, room and board, health insurance, opportunities for spiritual growth (retreats, spiritual direction) and grocery money.

We are currently accepting applications for this upcoming volunteer year 2019-2020. Our application can be found here: http://hrmcorps.org/apply/
