Augustinian Volunteers are looking for long-term volunteers to serve from August 2020 to June 2021. The AVs have openings for those seeking a unique opportunity to serve as a Paraprofessional in a Catholic elementary school in Lawrence, MA. The volunteer serves as a Paraprofessional, assisting teachers with daily activities including “circle time,” preparing and facilitating projects and activities, supervising recess, lunch, and nap time, and substitute teaching when the need arises. The volunteer also assists with the before-school and after-school programs or extra curricular activities.
