Work with team members in your volunteer service program to provide healthcare and social services to low-income patients and their families. The Social Worker assists with gaining self-sufficiency by providing assistance with basic needs, connecting to community resources and providing access to local, state, and federal benefits, assist with navigating through social services and in building a support system. Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are especially needed.
