Have you ever considered giving the Lord your entire heart in service to His beloved poor? LAMP Catholic Ministries is seeking men and women who are deeply in love with Jesus and wish to share that love with those in need. Lay Apostolic Ministries with the Poor is a canonical outreach of the Archdiocese of New York that offers missionaries the opportunity to deepen in love of God and neighbor.

In New York, particularly in the Bronx, there is a tremendous need for simple love. Missionaries provide companionship and avenues for the mercy of Jesus to those who suffer not only from material poverty, but to those who find themselves in the epidemic of loneliness. Besides daily service in the streets with the poor and homeless, missionaries are nourished by daily visits to the Blessed Sacrament in Mass and adoration, pray in community, and receive ongoing spiritual formation. The New York area also has a tremendous and active community of Catholic young adults that share LAMP’s desire for holiness.
