Summer Ministry Positions in the Spirit of St. Francis

Looking for a transformative summer full-time volunteer experience? The Franciscan At-One-Ment Mission Project, a program of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, invites young men to discern how God is calling them to be the face of Jesus in serving the Church and the world. Volunteers do this through serving in one of the Friars’ “At-One-Ment” ministries of healing and reconciliation. Opportunities include: 1) helping homeless and chemically dependent men heal from addiction and regain their lives, or 2) fostering religious dialogue so that all Christian faiths and world religions may work together to bring reconciliation to our divided, hurting world. The first option takes place at St. Christopher’s Inn homeless shelter and treatment facility in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York. Option two is based in Manhattan and includes an educational trip to Rome! Both programs take place June 14-August 12, 2018. Join in the work of the Friars as together we seek “to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.” (St. Francis of Assisi)
