Many volunteers find the process of leaving their volunteer community and service work even more of a challenge than it was to get started. For more than 40 years, From Mission to Mission has assisted people in their preparation and processing of their cross-cultural, ministerial, and life transitions to continue their Christian call to mission.
Today, From Mission to Mission is a program of Catholic Volunteer Network. We are grateful for these words of affirmation from Kelli Nelson, the Executive Director of From Mission to Mission, and the From Mission to Mission Board of Directors upon the organization’s acquisition by CVN:
It is with tremendous excitement that we share with you our plans to formally transition our programming to Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN). This acquisition will strategically allow the programming to reach more individuals and organizations doing faith-based service, mission work, and navigating transitions across our nation…CVN is committed to stewarding the mission forward, and after years of partnership and a shared vision for this work, we have no doubt they are the perfect home for From Mission to Mission.

CVN awarded From to Mission the 2023 Mader Award; Kelli Nelson accepted the award on behalf of the organization. CVN continues the work of From Mission to Mission by providing resources for service program alumni who are navigating transitions into their next faithful steps:
