SPIRITUS Ministries is hiring Catholic young adults to join our missionary team and lead youth into a deeper relationship with Jesus. One of these missionaries will also serve as a Social Media intern with our Communications staff. From mid-August to mid-May, missionaries lead powerful retreats for Catholic youth in elementary, middle, and high school. While gaining practical experience, missionaries also live intentionally in men's or women's households, growing in virtue and community.

Develop the impact our social media has on customers, donors, youth, and potential missionaries.
As part of a team, manage and monitor various social media platforms such as: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Create and edit short-form videos while learning our internal software systems.
Collect and organize photo and video content.

Description: Amigos de Jesús is currently looking for short-term volunteers to assist in summer camp activities during school vacation. The time frame is late June to early August, and the position will involve leading creative, recreational, and educational activities for elementary and middle school aged children. The volunteer program is formed on the basis of being an intentional, faith based community. Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement a promotion plan for a documentary created by CMMB Peru which aims to raise awareness of the local organization's programs
Coordinate and distribute promotional and graphic materials for outreach campaigns and events.
Organize and support film screenings, presentations, and educational sessions at universities, private companies, cultural centers, and community spaces.
Coordinate community screenings and engagement activities to promote program attendance.
Assist in developing and executing press and media strategies to enhance program visibility.
Support social media campaigns by creating, scheduling, and sharing content on digital platforms.
Collaborate with universities, companies, and community organizations to establish partnerships and expand outreach initiatives.
Assist with event planning, logistics, registration, and attendee engagement.
Maintain communication with stakeholders and partners to ensure the successful promotion of programs and activities.
Track promotional activities and provide reports on outreach initiatives and community engagement
Support the development of awareness campaigns aligned with the mission and objectives of the various programs.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Minimum 6 months or 1 year of experience program in Communications, PR or Film.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with universities, private corporations, cultural centers, and community organizations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and events.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Previous volunteer, outreach, communications, or marketing experience is preferred but not required.

Maggie’s Place offers a transformative AmeriCorps experience for those seeking a meaningful year of service. Our mission is to provide safe housing and a nurturing community for homeless pregnant women, empowering them to thrive for a lifetime. Across five homes in Maricopa County, AmeriCorps members live in intentional community alongside 4–11 moms, helping create a stable, welcoming environment.
Members spend up to a year immersed in daily life in one of our homes—supporting moms, responding to challenges, and fostering community using a trauma-informed care approach. From managing household needs and resolving conflicts to mentoring and building relationships, you’ll be on the front lines of breaking cycles of poverty and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
This role is ideal for compassionate, resilient individuals who are open to growth, committed to service, and eager to support women from diverse backgrounds with empathy and respect. Description: Marian House is a women-centered program co-sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and the School Sisters of Notre Dame. They provide a safe, sober, and loving environment that challenges women to respect and love themselves, confront emotional and socioeconomic barriers, and transition to stable and independent lives. A volunteer is needed to serve as a Family Program Assistant, providing a supportive presence to residents and their children through assisting with case management, co-facilitating groups, planning programming and events and providing childcare support during women’s groups.

Description: Hope Cooperative provides behavioral health and supportive housing services for people with mental health challenges. As a client-driven organization, it is dedicated to the independence and empowerment of individuals with psychiatric disabilities and co-occurring substance use disorders including those experiencing homelessness. Two volunteers are needed to serve as wellness center associates. The wellness center makes a critical difference by providing a space where members can engage in activities focused on personal growth and community building, rather than activities that could jeopardize their sobriety and stable mental health. The responsibilities of the volunteers include nurturing a welcoming and safe environment, planning and implementing small group activities, and supporting clients with referrals to resources.

Description: Position Overview: The Clinical Services Assistant position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive medical setting at Christ House. This position involves assisting our clinical staff in providing holistic care for our patients in our medical respite unit, ideal for those considering a career in health care. As part of the DC Service Corps, volunteers live in community and receive weekly formation.

Position Responsibilities:
• Direct patient care (50%):
o Welcome and orient new patients to the respite unit.
o Measure and record vital signs
o Assist patients in maintaining a clean environment.
o Assist patients with activities of daily living and cleanliness of environment
o Perform dressing changes and treatments
o Support patients in attending scheduled meetings and meals and prepare patients for outside appointments
o Complete daily cleaning assignments to include laundry room, treatment room, patient rooms, and showers
o Understand and promote safety and infection control policies and procedures and perform job in a safe manner (i.e. universal precautions, hand-washing, use of gloves, etc.)
o Understand role in emergency situations, both medical (i.e. patient falls) and mental health emergencies (i.e. patient who presents a clear danger to themselves or others)
o Accompanies patients to appointments, when needed
• Administrative Clinical Support (35%)
o Provide back-up support to the unit clerk, including but not limited to creating and managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and communicating with external providers
o Collaborates with Charge Nurse and other clinical staff to organize transportation to and from appointments and coordinate care on medical floor
o Collaborates with Nurse Manager to manage data collection and monthly statistics reports
o Assists with monthly supply inventory and ordering
o Ensures all data entry and paperwork is complete and accurate
• Departmental Support (10%)
o Assists Volunteer Office and Patient Services Assistant in planning and implementing patient activities (approximately once a week)
o Supports Development office by gathering patient stories for use in communications
o Participates in the life of the Christ House community by attending events and activities
o Assists other departments as requested
• Other duties as assigned (5%)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year of patient care work or experience working with people experiencing homelessness is preferred.
• Strong interest in healthcare career.

Description: The Commonage in London, Ohio, has an immediate service opportunity for a long-season farmhand, June through October. The Commonage program is designed for young adults, aged 18-26. The program offers meaning and belonging through immersive experiences and education in restorative agriculture, spiritual practice, and communal living within a farm, camp, and retreat center setting. Commonage Members will experience life together tethered by prayer, shared meals, play, rest, reflection, conversation, service, and hard work. Participants live and work on land at the Procter Center, 1200 beautiful acres in Southern Ohio which include two farms, a 15-acre lake, a 70-acre woodland, and access to all camp amenities such as kayaks, canoes, hammocks, labyrinth, trails, sports court, fishing, and more. Members are part of the larger Procter community, which includes our Summer Camp staff and campers, volunteers, and patrons at the local farmer’s market. For over a century, the organization has worked to strengthen health systems through long-term development programs, the distribution of medicines and medical supplies, and the placement of skilled volunteers in resource-limited settings.
This volunteer program is designed to strengthen practical English communication skills among Spanish-speaking participants in Peru. It emphasizes conversational immersion as a key method for building confidence and fluency, allowing participants to practice English in a supportive, real-world context. The program also introduces essential language concepts relevant to professional environments, travel, and intercultural communication. Through interactive activities and guided discussions, participants develop their speaking and listening skills while gaining greater confidence in using English in everyday situations.

Description: Rooted in the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy and the Jesuits, Cristo Rey High School serves students in grades 9-12. All families must demonstrate that they have limited income to be considered for admission to the school. Most students will be first generation college students with approximately 95% of students identifying as Hispanic and Catholic. A volunteer is needed as an academic support assistant. The volunteer will provide individual and small group tutoring, support students with executive functioning skills, coordinate substitute teachers, and assist the campus minister with retreats, liturgies and other school-wide events. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
