Service Length

Precious Blood Volunteers commit to six months to one year of service with a possibility of a second year.

Requirements

Precious Blood Volunteers are people over the age of 18 who have a desire to grow in their faith while serving people living in poverty. Preference is given to candidates who have training or education that matches with the needs of our placements.

Living Arrangements

Precious Blood Volunteers have a fully furnished private bedroom and live in community with other volunteers and Precious Blood priests, brothers, or sisters. You will share meals, prayer, and friendship with members of the Precious Blood community throughout your service experience.

Training

We have a one week orientation to the program and is followed up with orientation at your service placement, a mid-year retreat, monthly spirituality/justice nights and other community gatherings.

Early deadline is February 15. After February 15 applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
