Yankton Benedictines Residential Volunteer Program for Women

Goal of Program: To provide an opportunity for single women (with no dependants) to volunteer their time and talents in service of God's people within the Monastery and/or through social outreach activities (e.g., homeless shelter, women's shelter, Boys & Girls Club, etc.) while experiencing Benedictine Spirituality within the daily rhythm of prayer and community living at Sacred Heart Monastery.

Placement Type: Long-term (1 year with the opportunity to renew) and short-term (3-months – 1 year) include: Care Center activities; various cleaning jobs; Care Center laundry, Peace Center hospitality; vegetable preparation; social outreach (Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, etc.,Nursing; Nurse's Aid; Receptionist; Gardening).
