Servants of the Good Help
Goal of Program
Servants of the Good Help serves the message our Lady of Champion gave to Adele Bride in 1859. We live and work in the wild country of Peru and we go out in search of God's little ones to teach them what is necessary for salvation. We are evangelistic first but we also help with the basic needs of the people we have come to serve.
Type of Placement
We have a wide variety of areas in which we serve. Volunteers can jump into any of our projects with ease. Our first mission is to the evangelization of the area in which we serve. We offer catechism classes and training for the local church leaders. Following evangelization comes serving the basic needs of the people. We have agriculture programs to help the local farmers. We offer summer school and after school programs to help the local children. We donate food to and volunteer in the local soup kitchens of our prelature. We offer youth and marriage retreats at our mission center. We host medical clinics once a month at our center for the local people who do not have access to medical care.
