Young Adult Volunteers (YAV)
Goal of Program
The Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program is a faith-based year of service for young adults, ages 19-30, in 15 different sites around the world and the United States. YAVs accompany local agencies working to address the root causes of poverty and reconciliation while exploring the meaning an motivation of their faith in community with peers and mentors.

age 19-30, persons looking for faith-based year of service in the Christian path

Living Arrangements
Vary by site - most naitonal placements live in a community house. International sites live in community houses or with local host families
Training
Orientation is required for all program participants, and continued training throught the YAV year. Transition Retreat is offered after completion of year.
