Goal of Program
Associates in Volunteer Ministry embrace the values and visions of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati as they strive to meet the needs of the poor and oppressed by: deepening their personal commitment to service while working with Sisters of Charity, reflecting on their ministerial service in the light of Gospel, and sharing in the life and prayer of the Sisters and Associates.

Service Area
Long-term placements available in Cincinnati, Ohio and El Paso, Texas. Short-term placements are available in Cincinnati only.
Service Length
Long-term placements are for 10-12 months, short-term placements are for three to six months.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 20 years of age, single or married, no dependents, in good health (both physical and psychological), have a Christian background and motivation, a desire to be of service, a willingness to work with Sisters of Charity, and an openness to prayer and faith-sharing with Associates and Sisters.

Orientation is provided on site and with the Sisters.
