Why I want this volunteer experience:
I am seeking to become a volunteer because I strongly believe in the humanitarian values of service, solidarity, and accountability, and I want to continue contributing my professional skills to meaningful causes that support vulnerable populations. Having worked with international organizations such as WHO, UNHCR, and IOM, I have seen firsthand how well-coordinated logistics, supply chain management, and operational support directly enable life-saving programs. Volunteering allows me to remain actively engaged in the humanitarian and development sector, while offering my experience in logistics, fleet management, procurement, and systems compliance to strengthen operations on the ground. In addition, volunteering represents an opportunity to give back, to continue learning, and to support teams in a collaborative and service-oriented capacity. It also aligns with my personal motivation to remain professionally active and available following my resignation from IOM for family reasons, while continuing to uphold humanitarian principles and contribute positively wherever support is needed.
