Why I want this volunteer experience:
Hello, I’m Valentina Camil Almeida, from a tiny farming village in Maharashtra, India. My parents have given everything their sweat, their faith, their simple ways and that's what keeps me going. Because of them and my love for the Church, I want to serve the Catholic community, even abroad in missions if that's where I'm needed. I just want to be a small light, showing that God really does answer when we trust Him and keep at it. These days, I work at Millennium High School in Mucherla, with the Pallottine Society (SAC). I do payroll for 60 staff, handle budgets, collect fees, and manage the everyday admin. It's opened my eyes to how good organization helps our Catholic schools thrive, and it's stirred something deeper in me. Before, as an Accounts Assistant, I dealt with audits, taxes, and financials for all kinds of clients. I also spent time with an NGO, bringing books and creative fun to underprivileged kids. Those days taught me accuracy, discipline, and real care for the forgotten ones. Rejections hit hard, made me feel small sometimes, but they just drew me closer to prayer and pushed me to work harder proof God can use even me. I have a Master's in Commerce from Chandigarh University and a Bachelor's from St. Xavier’s College, Goa. Tally ERP 9 is second nature, and I'm solid on finance and admin tools. English, Marathi, Konkani, Hindi no problem. But honestly, it's my genuine willingness that matters most: I am ready to work humbly and faithfully for the Catholic community in any admin, finance, or support role you need, wherever it is. Give me a little training, fair pay so I can support my family, and one shot to prove myself. I dream of making my parents proud, strengthening our local Church, and showing others that God opens doors for ordinary folks like us. Thank you
