Why I want this volunteer experience:
I am seeking to become a volunteer at Catholic Relief Services because I am deeply committed to service, social impact, and advancing human dignity which are values that strongly align with the organization’s mission. CRS’s work in humanitarian relief, community development, and peacebuilding resonates with both my academic background in social and political philosophy and my growing practical interest in conflict resolution and community engagement. I am particularly drawn to the organization’s focus on empowering vulnerable communities in a way that is sustainable, dignified, and locally driven. Beyond alignment in values, I see this opportunity as a platform to contribute meaningfully while also developing critical field experience.
