Goal of Program
The Billiken Teacher Corps of Saint Louis University is a unique service-learning opportunity for faith-driven college graduates to have a transformative impact in underserved Catholic schools in the St. Louis area. Billiken Teacher Corps (BTC) members live the Jesuit Mission of being men and women for and with others. For two years, members live in an intentional faith community while teaching full time and earning their Master of Arts in Teaching degree with full tuition remission.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree; acceptance into Saint Louis University's graduate program. Must be willing to live/actively participate in the intentional faith community. Desire to serve in Catholic schools.
Financial Arrangements
Master of Arts in Teaching degree provided with full tuition remission. Monthly stipend, low-cost communal housing. Health insurance available if needed.

Training
Two years of graduate coursework towards MAT degree; alternative certification available. Each member receives a university supervisor, school mentor and instructional coach. Three retreats per year.
