Operation TEACH
Goal of Program
Operation TEACH is a post-graduate, service opportunity for educators to make an impact on students in Baltimore area Catholic Schools while embarking on a transformative personal and professional journey. Operation TEACH participants commit to the two-year service program while they are enrolled in a graduate program at Notre Dame of Maryland University and complete a Master of Arts in Education. The program's three pillars – Community Life, Spiritual Life, and Professional Life – form the foundation upon which participants build their futures as educators, leaders, and agents of change.

Approximately 18 participants
Requirements
Applicants should have the desire to teach, grow spiritually, and live in community with others. Participants must have an undergraduate degree in a teachable content area or education and a car.
Financial Arrangements
Participants earn a yearly stipend of $18,000 paid directly from placement school, are provided health insurance, and live in subsidized community housing.
Living Arrangements
Program participants live in community housing provided by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Participants pay monthly rent and live in community with others.
Training
Operation TEACH participants earn a graduate degree from Notre of Maryland University and receive ongoing support from program administration and placement schools.
