Goal of Program

To provide an opportunity to any young adult who would like to volunteer and experience what it is like to work with young people, while living and being part of a religious community.

Volunteers serve in youth centers, parish youth ministries, and high schools.

Long-term: one year. Short-term: six months. Summer Experience: 7 weeks

Program Size

11 volunteers

Requirements

Volunteers must be between 18 and 35 years of age, high school graduates, Catholic or Christian, and single with no dependents.

Financial Arrangements

Medical insurance, departure transportation, room and board are provided for the volunteers.

Living Arrangements

The volunteers live in community with the Salesians.

Training

Two week long training session provided.

Application Deadline

Anytime, preferably April - May.
