St. Joseph Worker Program – Orange, CA enables you to journey with those experiencing homelessness. Make connections with families and children that are homeless or living in poverty – take time to have conversations and learn their story. Assist in assessing individual needs, connecting them with resources and assist in deepening their spirituality – finding God/the divine in the midst of hardship or challenge. Connect with social justice office, local community organizations & leaders. Spread awareness of the vulnerable experiencing homelessness through presentations and/or workshops for community members by evaluating the gaps between what families actually need, how they get connected to them, and what is provided to them.
