From connecting people with daily necessities, providing access to healthy food, and empowering people to reach self-sufficiency, there are many ways you can support those experiencing homelessness as a Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps Member!
As part of the service year, JV/AmeriCorps members live in community with three to seven other volunteers and explore the values of spirituality/reflection, community, simple living, and social and ecological justice. Benefits include housing, room and board, medical insurance, an AmeriCorps Education Award of over $6,000, support throughout the year, retreats, personal and professional development, and connection to a vast network of former JVs and AmeriCorps alumni.
