L’Arche communities are places where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together in intentional community. We have immediate openings for live-in assistants in Tacoma, Washington.

Assistants provide direct care supports and skill building for those with intellectual disabilities with things like personal care needs (clothing, hygiene, etc.), medication support, cooking and the running of the house. The community enjoys regular retreats, time on the L’Arche farm, community vacations, dances, bowling tournaments, and lots of mocha dates.
