L’Arche communities are places where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together in intentional community. We have immediate openings for live-in Assistants in Overland Park, near Kansas City, MO.

Assistants provide direct care supports and skill building for those with intellectual disabilities with things like personal care needs (clothing, hygiene, etc.), medication support, cooking and the running of the house. The community enjoys regular retreats, blowout holiday celebrations, weekly prayer nights, monthly community nights, integrated community activities, Christmas caroling.
