We are seeking young adults how are not afraid to go back to kindergarten. Mission is the kindergarten of love, and Con-solatio is looking for people (ages 18-30) who desire to offer 1-2 years to Christ and those who are particularly precious to Him: the poor, lonely, abandoned, sick, disabled, elderly, children, youth, imprisoned, or ignored.

Con-solatio is a Catholic missions nonprofit with an International Missionary Program. In a nutshell:

• Our mission is to offer a “ministry of presence” to those who suffer the most. We want to stand with Mary at the foot of the cross, offering the consolation of a simple presence.
• Our volunteers (ages 18 to 30) live in homes nestled in impoverished neighborhoods in large cities around the world for 1-2 years.
• We share intentional, family-style community life with 4-6 other international volunteers
• Each day is rooted in a faithful prayer life including Liturgy of the Hours, Adoration, Daily Mass, and Rosary.
• We seek to offer the consolation and hope of God’s love and mercy through life-transforming relationships that reveal the beauty and dignity of each person.
• We have partnered mission homes in 18 countries around the world (Ecuador, Costa Rica, Japan, Honduras, El Salvador, Cuba, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, India, Thailand, the Philippines, Greece, Romania, Italy, Senegal)
