Stella Maris provides the following services to the aged, infirm, and terminally ill persons: independent living housing units, subacute/rehabilitation, medical daycare, and personal care services. A volunteer is needed as a programs and activities coordinator in the long-term care unit. In this role, the volunteer will engage the residents in quality of life activities as well as build individual relationships through daily visits.

Mercy Volunteers promote social change through one year of service in healthcare, education, and social services. Mercy Volunteers compassionately serve in the spirit of mutuality within economically poor and socially marginalized communities in the United States and South America. Volunteers live together in an intentional community and commit to spiritual growth and a simple/sustainable lifestyle. All volunteers receive housing, transportation, monthly stipends, retreats, and more.
