Christian Appalachian Project’s summer camps have provided a rewarding week of learning to children in Appalachia for more than 35 years. Our summer camps would not be possible without our extraordinary camp volunteers and AmeriCorps members. The kids love the activities, but what they remember most about camp are the volunteers who cared enough to spend their summer with them.

• Arts and Craft leaders
• Social Media Content Managers
• Lifeguards
• General Help

Through the AmeriCorps program (six weeks of camp) you may be eligible for:

• $1500 living allowance before taxes paid every two weeks
• $1390 Education Award at the end of your service
• Up to $400 travel reimbursement

Amenities:

• Comfortable staff quarters
• 48 hours off every weekend
• Transportation available on weekends
• All meals, snacks, etc. provided
• Daily meal break each day away from kids
