Homeless Teen Outreach Opportunity – Education Award Available

Franciscan Community Volunteers is looking for long-term volunteers to serve August 2019 to July 2020 in a Youth Transitional/Homeless Housing Program. The volunteer will work with assisting youth in skill building and increasing independence in their home and community while working with the staff to provide the youth with safe and supportive environment. This position is eligible for full-time $5,000 FCV funded Education Award. Franciscan Community Volunteers is an ecumenical, faith-based program that serves the poor and those on the margins for 10.5 months. FCV has three pillars: meaningful service, intentional community and Franciscan spirituality. The volunteers live in intentional community with other volunteers and Franciscan Sisters during the service year.
