Mercy Volunteers promote social change and build community through compassionate service. There are urgent opportunities for Mercy Volunteers in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Cincinnati for the 2023 – 2024 service year. Placements include homeless outreach, immigration legal services, women’s advocacy and housing, hospitals,  schools, and after-school programs.

While serving in the spirit of mutuality, Mercy Volunteers cultivate Mercy and justice by embracing compassionate service, social justice, spiritual growth, and a simple lifestyle in community. Volunteers receive housing, transportation, monthly stipends, and health insurance, and can differ student loans. There are opportunities to participate in retreats, spiritual direction, and mentoring.
