Mercy Volunteers promote social change through compassionate service with people experiencing homelessness, migration, and food security, or advocacy for the care of the earth and peace promotion. In partnership with community organizations, volunteers grow professionally while serving at community outreach centers, hospitals, and schools in Sacramento, Detroit, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. While serving in the spirit of mutuality, Mercy Volunteers engage in social justice, spiritual growth, and a simple lifestyle in community. Volunteers receive housing, transportation, stipends, health insurance, retreats, and more!
