Christian Appalachian Project is in need of volunteers to help in the kitchen for our WorkFest and YouthFest Alternative Spring Break Programs. This event brings college students from across the county to serve on home repair projects in Appalachian Kentucky. Our volunteer kitchen crew helps keep these hungry students fed after a long day on the jobsite, and it’s a lot of fun–we have volunteers return to serve year after year. We have a scaled-back program this year due to COVID but are still hoping to welcome 15-30 students each week.

Volunteers typically stay onsite and serve for a week or longer, but we also welcome community volunteers who can come in to serve a couple of meals. You can find our volunteer application on our website, or reach out to us with questions at volunteer@chrisapp.org!
