Summer Communities of Service

United Church of Christ Summer Communities of Service (SCOS) is a program for young adults aged 18 and above.  Summer Communities of Service focuses on intersecting faith communities, service, and environmental justice.  Young Adult Volunteers are needed to serve at UCC Camp & Retreat Sites to assist with camp life: programmatic planning, managerial, facilities and hospitality.

Located on the shores, in the mountains, overlooking grant mountain ranges, in the forest or on the plains, UCC Camps and Retreat Centers serve local congregations, non-profit groups, families, individuals and other business groups year-round.  Thousands of guests of all ages and backgrounds discover and deepen their faith through encounters with God in creation and Christian community.

Volunteers live and serve from June to early August at a United Church of Christ Camp and Retreat Center.  Housing, Health Insurance, Meals, and a Monthly Stipend are provided.  To learn more about the open positions and camp locations please contact Danielle Hickman at hickmand@ucc.org.
